About Us

About Our Practice

At Couture Vision, we understand that style should command the same respect as function. For that reason, we have over 500 ophthalmic and 450 sunglass frames to choose from, and our selection of eyeglasses is continuously updated. Each and every frame is hand selected by our diverse staff to ensure a collection that will appeal to even the most selective fashionista.

Our lens offerings are unparalleled. We offer a complete selection of fully customizable, digitally surfaced lenses to provide you with the best possible vision at any viewing angle. More information about this technology can be found in the Lenses and Frames section below, or by speaking with our knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Adam Black, O.D. is originally from downstate Illinois. He completed his undergraduate degree in microbiology at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He went on to obtain his doctorate in optometry from the University of California at Berkeley. He lived in Colorado for nearly five years after graduation, and returned to Illinois to be closer to his family in 2010.

In his free time, Dr. Black acts on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Safe School Alliance because every child has the right to learn in a safe and nurturing environment. The Alliance is responsible for anti-bullying legislation in Illinois as well as public education and youth organizing.

Dr. Kori Klover was born and raised in Braidwood, IL. A graduate of Reed-Custer High School, she attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry where she graduated summa cum laude as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and had the honor of receiving the Dr. George L. Demetrios Memorial Scholarship.

She completed clinical rotations through Chicago Cornea Consultants, Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center/Great Lakes Naval Station, and the Diabetic Eye Clinic at the Illinois Eye Institute. During those rotations, she received training in primary care, emergency care, contact lenses, and ocular disease.

Dr. Klover loves getting to know all of her patients and their families at Couture Vision. She looks forward to helping each one achieve the best vision possible while treating and preventing eye-related disease. Dr. Klover is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association.

She currently resides in Naperville with her husband and their adorable pups, Baxter and Fergi. In her free time, she enjoys taking walks around her neighborhood and along the Riverwalk, spending time with her family, attending concerts in Chicago, reading mystery novels, and completing a challenging crossword puzzle.
